HOT AIR BALLOON LAUNCHES - magnificent, colorful hot air balloons that only the mind could imagine! Enjoy the balloons as they take to the skies at dawn and in the afternoon in awesome MASS ASCENSIONS followed by more balloons featuring TOP RANKED COMPETITORS flying their balloons to COMPETE IN CHALLENGING TASKS right before your eyes!
"LITE THE NITE" BALLOON GLOW -Saturday evening, just as the sun goes down you will experience the breathtaking sight as the balloons stand inflated to glow like huge colorful globes in the night.
AVIATION EXTRAVAGANZA - During the day be amazed by the Aviation Extravaganza featuring gliders, helicopters, a variety of airplanes, Commemorative Air Force, powered parachutes, skydivers, radio controlled aircraft, kites and more in static displays, demonstrations and flyovers! Some glider, airplane and helicopter flights will be available to the public.
"MidWay Takes to the Skies" Air Show - Sunday afternoon beginning at 3pm. Join us for an hour and a half of exciting in the air dynamics! Watch Spanky Galloway's Wolf Pitts solo aerobatics, be awed by the Texas Twisters formation flight of T34's, Jan Collmer will perform aerobatics in his Extra, Jason Newberg from Viper Airshows brings his exciting Viper Pitts solo aerobatic performance and be truly amazed by the breathtaking, earth shattering excitement of the Trojan Phlyers, who base at MidWay, in their astounding formation aerobatic performance with their T28's.
ATTRACTIONS - Wander through concessions of delicious foods, arts and crafts, exhibits and displays, children's area and more!
