Summer Balloon Classic was established in 1992 by the late Jimmy Kornel. Previously based in California, the office transferred to New York after the demise of the founder in the year 2000. The family and business partners of Kornel continued the business up to the present time. Kornel envisioned the organization to be a bridge and an extending hand that would reach to people and make them involved with the fun happenings all over the world. The founder himself was a traveler and loved to witness and experiences the festivals and events of various countries. Having this passion to travel and explore the cultures of the world through festivals, he built the organization.
